The Armenian community in Iran: Issues and emigration

The article focuses on the history and the current situation of the Armenian community in Iran, a Christian population that lived in a theocratic country after the Iranian revolution. The writer describes the establishment and the subsequent movements of the Armenians in Iran, presents the institutions of the religious minority, the conditions and addresses the reasons that have been fueling the emigration of Iranian-Armenians.
